PERFORMING ARTISTE

OVERVIEW

Workwith your Team member, discuss, prepare rehearse for daily performances toensure readiness for planned shows and activities. Audience engagement andinteraction by creating positive atmosphere and creatives performances cater todifferent audiences. Willing to accept feedback and comment by creativeprofessionals and individuals to refine programs so as to enhance and elevate performanceoutcome.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Attend rehearsals,preparation, technical run-throughs according to schedule; confer with otherband members to perform on stage in front of a live audience

Work with MusicDirector, stage Manager, and Instruments handler on fine-tuning eachperformance

Be creative to interpretmusic or dance and perform in entertaining production

Contribute creativeideas to enhance each performances and supporting artistic development process

Ability to understandand apply technical requirements related to performances, including costume,makeup, and stage elements, to maintain overall performance quality

Prepare costumes,props, and equipment needed for performances

Stay abreast with industry trends,new techniques, and performance techniques by participating workshops ortraining programs as required

Adaptable to changes in program, script,or activity requirements and represent the organisation and productionprofessionally in all aspects

Adhere to safety protocols on stageand backstage compliance

Able to work tilllate night, weekends and Public Holidays

REQUIRED COMPETENCIES AND QUALIFICATIONS

Proficiency in at least one form ofperformance art namely; acting, singing, dancing, or music performance

Experience in live performances,related fields with ability to make adjustments when needed

Communication and interpersonalskills to collaborate effectively within a team

Passion for the arts and commitmentto continuous improvement
