Salesforce Architect
DIGITAL BIZ SOLUTIONS PTE. LTD.
We are looking for an experienced Salesforce Architect to lead the design and delivery of large-scale, mission-critical Salesforce solutions. This role sits at the intersection of hands-on technical leadership and squad delivery ownership — you will architect scalable solutions, guide implementation best practices, and lead a squad of developers and consultants to deliver on time and to a high standard.
The ideal candidate has deep expertise across Service Cloud, Public Sector Solutions (PSS), and OmniStudio, combined with a strong track record of shipping complex, integrated Salesforce programs.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Solutioning & Architecture
- Design end-to-end Salesforce solutions (data model, security, automation, integration).
- Translate business requirements into scalable technical designs aligned with Salesforce best practices.
- Own architectural decisions for Service Cloud, PSS, and OmniStudio implementations.
- Conduct technical and code reviews; enforce governance and quality standards.
- Identify technical risks and define mitigation strategies.
Delivery & Squad Leadership
- Lead a squad of developers, QE, and designers through the full delivery lifecycle.
- Break down complex requirements into deliverable sprints/workstreams; manage delivery timelines.
- Act as the primary technical escalation point; unblock issues and make pragmatic trade-off decisions.
- Coach and mentor junior/mid-level developers on Salesforce architecture and coding standards.
- Collaborate with Project/Delivery Managers to ensure alignment on scope, timeline, and quality.
Service Cloud & Public Sector Solutions (PSS)
- Architect and implement Service Cloud solutions (case management, omni-channel, knowledge management, entitlements/SLAs).
- Apply PSS-specific capabilities to government or regulated-industry use cases.
- Ensure solutions meet compliance, security, and audit requirements typical of public sector or highly regulated environments.
OmniStudio
- Design and build OmniStudio artifacts (OmniScripts, FlexCards, Integration Procedures, DataRaptors) for guided, low-code process automation.
- Establish reusable OmniStudio patterns and governance standards for scalability.
- Make sound build decisions between OmniStudio, Flow, and Apex/LWC.
System Integrations
- Design and oversee integrations between Salesforce and external systems (identity providers, middleware, legacy systems).
- Apply integration patterns (REST APIs, MuleSoft, Platform Events, external services, SCIM-based provisioning).
- Ensure integration solutions are secure, resilient, and support enterprise identity/governance requirements.
Large-Scale Delivery
- Deliver large, complex Salesforce programs (multi-team, multi-phase, or multi-agency/business unit).
- Manage technical debt and platform scalability proactively.
- Contribute to CoE playbooks, architecture standards, and reusable delivery frameworks.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 7 years of hands-on Salesforce experience, with experience as an Architect or Technical Lead.
- Strong expertise in Service Cloud (case management, omni-channel, knowledge, entitlements).
- Hands-on experience with Public Sector Solutions (PSS) or comparable regulated-industry Salesforce implementations.
- Proven expertise in OmniStudio (OmniScripts, FlexCards, DataRaptors, Integration Procedures).
- Strong command of Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flow, and Salesforce core platform architecture.
- Experience designing and delivering system integrations (REST, middleware, identity/SSO provisioning).
- Track record of leading squads/teams to deliver projects on time and within scope.
- Experience delivering large-scale, complex Salesforce programs.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Salesforce certifications: Application Architect, System Architect.
- Experience with MuleSoft or other enterprise integration platforms.
- Experience with Salesforce Shield (encryption, event monitoring).
- Experience contributing to or building a Salesforce Centre of Excellence (CoE).
- Familiarity with CI/CD and DevOps practices for Salesforce (SFDX, sandbox strategy, release management).
