The QC Specialist II is responsible for executing testing, sampling and inspection procedures on raw materials, equipment, in-process materials, and/or finished products to ensure that product specifications and company and regulatory requirements are met.
This position is part of the Quality Control Department reporting to the QC Manager and will be located in Benoi Sector, Singapore.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
- Serve as the technical owner for assigned analytical methods and laboratory equipment, leading routine QC testing, troubleshooting activities, validation execution (IQ/OQ/PQ), calibration, and ensuring compliance with GMP, GLP, GDP, and laboratory quality requirements.
- Lead investigation and resolution of deviations, OOS, and CAPA activities, make technical decisions within the defined method and process scope, escalate critical issues when required, and support continuous improvement initiatives including PSP, Kaizen, 5S, and EHS programs.
- Drive laboratory excellence and capability development by leading functional improvement projects, mentoring junior analysts, sharing technical expertise, and supporting operational readiness to meet quality, compliance, and production objectives.
The essential requirements of the job include:
- Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, Life Sciences, Engineering, or related scientific discipline, with a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in a QC laboratory or regulated manufacturing environment.
- Operational & Compliance Capability: Strong understanding of routine QC operations, data review, documentation, and quality system requirements. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and able to support shift operations, quality escalations, and laboratory activities in a controlled cleanroom environment.
- Technical Competency: Experience with analytical instruments such as ICP-MS, GC-MS, Liquid Particle Counter (LPC), TOC, or equivalent laboratory systems. Demonstrated knowledge of method validation, equipment qualification, deviation investigation, CAPA management, and continuous improvement methodologies.
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
- Familiarity with Microsoft PowerApps and SAP/other ERP experience (specifically in manufacturing environment or cleanroom environment)
