Sales Executive

The Sales Executive is responsible for driving revenue growth by identifying new business opportunities, building strong relationships with clients, and promoting the company's products or services. This role involves proactive outreach, pitching to prospective clients, negotiating contracts, and meeting or exceeding predetermined sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead Generation & Prospecting
Research and identify new market opportunities, target industries, and potential clients through cold calling, networking, email campaigns, and referrals.
Qualify inbound leads and build a robust sales pipeline to ensure a steady stream of prospective business.
Conduct market research to stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activities, and pricing strategies.
2. Client Engagement & Pitching
Schedule and conduct meetings, product demonstrations, and presentations with prospective clients (both in-person and virtually).
Understand client needs, pain points, and objectives to effectively position and pitch suitable products or services.
Prepare tailored proposals, quotations, and bids aligned with client requirements and company pricing guidelines.
3. Negotiation & Closing Deals
Negotiate pricing, contract terms, service level agreements (SLAs), and delivery timelines with prospective clients.
Overcome objections and address concerns to successfully close deals and secure signed contracts or purchase orders.
Collaborate with internal teams (such as legal, finance, and product delivery) to ensure seamless onboarding and contract execution.
4. Account Management & Reporting
Maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing clients to encourage repeat business, upselling, and cross-selling.
Provide regular reports to sales management regarding pipeline status, forecast accuracy, closed deals, and lost opportunities using CRM software.
Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales quotas and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
Qualifications & Skills
Experience: Minimum of 1 to 3 years of proven experience in B2B or B2C sales, business development, or a related commercial role.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
Skills
Communication & Negotiation: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with strong persuasion and closing abilities.
Goal-Oriented: A driven, resilient mindset with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding targets in a competitive environment.
Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint).
Time Management: Ability to prioritize tasks, manage a busy pipeline, and work independently under pressure.
Working Conditions
Environment: Office-based with requirements for client site visits, networking events, or industry trade shows.
Schedule: Standard business hours, though flexibility may be required to accommodate client meetings across different time zones or urgent project deadlines.
