Medical Monitor - Singapore/Malaysia

BEATHCHAPMAN (PTE. LTD.)

  • Join an international team of physicians shaping how new medicines reach patients
  • Genuine scope to influence trial design, safety strategy and regulatory strategy, not just execute process

Our client is a privately-owned, full-service CRO with a 30-year track record supporting clinical trials across multiple continents. Known for being highly selective about the studies they take on, they've built a reputation for high-quality, timely delivery across a broad range of therapeutic areas — and a genuinely international, inclusive medical team culture.

They are now looking for a Medical Monitor to join their global Medical Monitoring team, based in Singapore or Malaysia on a hybrid working arrangement.

The Role

You'll sit at the frontline of medical science — working across sponsors, sites, data safety monitoring boards and regulatory agencies to protect patient safety and drive high-quality clinical trial delivery.

What you'll do

  • Advise clients, project teams, sites, DSMBs, regulators and vendors on medical matters
  • Contribute medical input into clinical development plans, protocols, investigator brochures, CSRs, manuscripts and scientific presentations
  • Review clinical data to safeguard participant safety and ensure protocol/GCP compliance
  • Manage safety issues arising from sites and study teams
  • Support bid defense meetings and pharmacovigilance activities
  • Identify program risks and build mitigation strategies with Clinical Operations
  • Chair or contribute to clinical development advisory boards and safety monitoring boards
  • Train and mentor clinical monitors and investigators
  • Review and sign off on clinical documents for medical relevance

What You'll Bring

  • Medical Doctor degree (required)
  • Board certification in Gastroenterology (preferred)
  • Clinical background in a major therapeutic area — Oncology, Infectious Disease, Gastroenterology, Hematology or Internal Medicine — is a plus
  • Prior clinical research / CRO experience strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with local regulatory frameworks; health authority interaction experience is a strong asset
  • Strong communication, leadership and stakeholder management skills

Interested candidates, or those who'd like a confidential conversation about the role, are encouraged to apply now or reach out directly.
