IT Asset and Knowledge Management Lead

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage key IT asset-related projects across the organization.

• Develop and implement an enterprise-wide IT Asset Management strategy for hardware, software, cloud, and SaaS assets.

• Ensure adherence to relevant regulations, cybersecurity policies, and internal governance related to IT assets.

• Oversee the complete asset lifecycle, including procurement, deployment, maintenance, refresh, and retirement.

• Implement and maintain IT Asset Management tools, ensuring accuracy of the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) and asset tracking processes.

• Collaborate with security teams to maintain asset hygiene, manage patch posture, and address end-of-life risks.

• Conduct audits and uphold accurate asset inventories for compliance with regulatory, financial, and security standards.

• Define key performance indicators (KPIs), reporting dashboards, and continuous improvement initiatives for IT Asset Management.

• Support governance by establishing asset standards, naming conventions, and configuration policies.

• Manage the IT Asset Management function, including policy creation, training, and stakeholder alignment across various departments.

• Establish and oversee the Knowledge Management strategy aligned with IT service management and business objectives.

• Act as the process owner for ITIL Knowledge Management practices, ensuring governance and compliance for audits.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.

• Minimum of 7 - 9 years of relevant experience in project management, IT asset management, configuration, and knowledge management.

• In-depth knowledge of current regulatory requirements in Singapore, including MAS Technology Risk Management Guidelines and Cybersecurity practices.

• Proven experience in leading teams of small to mid-size scale.

• Ability to manage large-scale and complex project initiatives effectively.

• Strong attention to detail with the capacity to accurately review and track tasks.

• Proficient knowledge of IT Service Management and Configuration Management Database (CMDB).

• Experience with ServiceNow is an advantage.

• ITIL certification is preferred.
