Job Summary
Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary construction projects, applying engineering expertise and project management skills to ensure successful delivery of major building and deep excavation works from design through handover.
Responsibilities
- Apply engineering expertise in civil, structural, mechanical, or electrical disciplines to manage construction projects of major buildings and deep excavation works.
- Manage project stages from design through construction to handover, ensuring compliance with technical specifications and project requirements.
- Synthesize data from Common Data Environment (CDE), Electronic Document Management System (EDMS), and Primavera P6 to identify and mitigate project coordination risks.
- Interpret and review technical drawings, specifications, and BIM models to support project execution and compliance.
- Utilize approved EDMS tools such as Bentley ProjectWise to manage project documentation, including RFIs and RFAs.
- Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders at all levels to drive project progress and resolve issues.
- Prepare and deliver executive-level presentations using Microsoft Office and Power BI dashboards to communicate project status and insights.
- Demonstrate strong negotiation and conflict management skills to engage with CAG and other stakeholders for project alignment.
- Work independently and as a proactive team player in fast-paced, complex project environments.
Required competencies and certifications
- Degree in Civil & Structural Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent recognized by the Professional Engineers Board (PEB) Singapore or acceptable accreditation to the OIC.
- Minimum 10 years of relevant construction experience as a C&S engineer, geotechnical engineer, mechanical engineer, or electrical engineer on projects of similar scale and complexity.
- Successful completion of at least two projects through construction and handover stages.
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Strong technical background in project management and site coordination for large-scale civil, infrastructure, and multidisciplinary construction projects.
