Role Overview

As a Customer Service Intern, you will serve as a frontline ambassador for BUZUD. You will gain hands-on experience in omnichannel customer support, patient-facing device guidance, troubleshooting smart health apps, and retail operational support. This role requires empathy and patience, as you will frequently interact with elderly users, caregivers, and medical professionals.

Key Responsibilities

1. Omnichannel Customer Support

  • Manage incoming queries across WhatsApp, phone hotlines, live web chat, and email regarding product details, order statuses, warranty registrations, and returns.

  • Provide timely, warm, and accurate resolution to customer inquiries while maintaining high service quality.

2. Showroom & Consultation Support

  • Welcome walk-in visitors to the BUZUD showroom and provide live product demonstrations.

  • Educate customers on operating health monitoring hardware (e.g., blood pressure cuffs, oxygen concentrators, CGMS sensors).

3. Technical Guidance & App Troubleshooting

  • Guide non-technical users—especially elderly patients and family caregivers—through mobile app pairing (iOS/Android) and device connectivity.

  • Assist with basic hardware troubleshooting, device calibration, and software navigation.

4. CRM & Operations Management

  • Document customer interactions, feedback, warranty requests, and complaints into the CRM system accurately.

  • Coordinate with the logistics and technical teams regarding order fulfillment, delivery updates, and device servicing/rentals.

  • Gather recurring customer feedback to help refine user manuals and internal support workflows.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Education: Currently pursuing or recently completed a Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Business Studies, Hospitality, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.

  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written English. Ability to converse in a second language (e.g., Mandarin or local dialects) is a plus to assist non-English speaking elderly walk-ins.

  • Tech Savviness: High comfort level with smartphone operating systems (iOS/Android), smart health devices, and web portals or CRM software.

  • Key Traits: High empathy, strong active listening skills, patience, and a genuine interest in healthcare and wellness technology.

  • Tools: Proficiency in basic MS Office (Word, Excel) and instant messaging apps (WhatsApp Business).
