Desktop Engineer | UP SGD $3600 | 1 Year Contract

About the role

Our client is one of Singapore’s leading IT services providers, and we are currently hiring for a Desktop Engineer role.

As part of the IT support team, you will be responsible for providing onsite desktop support to end users, ensuring smooth daily IT operations. The role involves managing user support requests, troubleshooting technical issues, and maintaining desktop and laptop systems to meet service level expectations.

You will play an important role in resolving IT incidents, supporting end users, performing device setup and maintenance, and ensuring a positive user experience within an enterprise environment

Salary: Up to S$3,600 (depending on experience) + 1-year completion bonus

Location: Singapore (Nearest MRT: Newton or Jurong East)

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 6:00 PM

Key Responsibilities

• Provide onsite IT support for desktops and laptops.

• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and basic IT issues.

• Install, configure, migration and re-image PCs and laptops.

• Manage IT support tickets and resolve issues within SLA.

• Track and maintain IT assets and devices.

• Escalate complex issues to the relevant support teams.

• Prepare and update IT documentation and user guides.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.

• Experience in Desktop Support, IT Helpdesk, or End User Computing is preferred.

• Familiar with Windows OS, Microsoft Office, hardware troubleshooting, and imaging.
