1. Design & Planning

  • Understand the requirements (length, pattern, flower type, cultural significance).
  • Plan the color scheme and arrangement design.
  • Customize based on festivals, weddings, temple rituals, or client specifications.

2. Material Selection & Preparation

  • Select fresh and appropriate flowers and leaves.
  • Trim, clean, and prepare flowers for use.
  • Choose thread, wire, or string for tying.

3. Garland Assembly

  • String flowers in the correct sequence and spacing.
  • Follow traditional or modern styles (e.g., South Indian temple style, Hawaiian lei, etc.).
  • Ensure sturdiness and uniformity.

4. Quality Control

  • Check for freshness, symmetry, and neatness.
  • Replace wilted or damaged flowers.
  • Make sure garlands meet client or ritual standards.

5. Storage & Transportation

  • Store garlands in a cool, moist environment if needed.
  • Package garlands carefully to avoid crushing.
