Job Summary

You will teach aquatic and swimming skills to babies, toddlers, and neurodivergent children using compassionate, structured methods while building trust with both children and parents. You will grow with a supportive team focused on child development.

Responsibilities

Teach aquatic and swimming skills to babies and toddlers to promote water confidence and safety
Build trusting relationships with children and parents to support learning and comfort in the water
Apply structured, compassionate approaches to support neurodivergent children with ADHD, autism, sensory sensitivities, or developmental delays
Communicate clearly and empathetically with anxious parents and excited toddlers to foster a positive learning environment
Collaborate with the team to continuously improve teaching methods and contribute to school growth
Participate in full onboarding and training to learn the Swim Monkey teaching approach

Preferred competencies and qualifications

Experience in preschool, kindergarten, or early childhood education
Experience teaching or supporting neurodivergent children
Basic swimming ability (competitive swimming background not required)
Warmth, patience, and emotional intelligence in working with young children and families
