Job Summary

The Project Manager is responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and successful delivery of building projects within defined timelines, budgets, and quality standards. This role involves managing a project team, coordinating with stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with EHS and contractual requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement project start-up and execution plans to meet targets for time, cost, quality, resources, EHS, and contractual obligations
  • Coordinate with clients and consultants to manage authority submissions, planning, construction, and EHS compliance throughout the project lifecycle
  • Lead and direct professional and technical teams daily to achieve project objectives and maintain site progress
  • Review and update the master programme, define project milestones, and set pull-planning targets to control site progress effectively
  • Manage subcontractors to ensure adherence to performance targets in time, cost, quality, and safety
  • Monitor and control project budgets and oversee all contractual matters to ensure compliance and financial discipline
  • Drive the adoption of innovative construction methodologies to enhance productivity and implement lean construction practices
  • Foster collaboration and commitment within the project team to achieve performance targets and project goals
  • Support the Business Unit Head or Project Director in tendering and proposal activities to secure new projects

Required competencies and certifications

  • Degree in Building, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in project management and/or site coordination for building projects
  • Strong expertise in construction management, project planning, and contractual administration with a lean approach to cost and resource management
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders to meet project milestones and targets
  • Proactive problem-solving skills focused on strategic project outcomes
  • Data-driven approach to improve efficiency and productivity through measurement and analysis

Preferred competencies and qualifications

  • Experience in aerospace, commercial, institutional, or government projects
