Work Schedule

This position follows a 12-hour shift arrangement:

  • Work 4 days, off 3 days
  • Work 3 days, off 4 days
  • Day Shift: 7:00 am to 7:00 pm
  • Night Shift: 7:00 pm to 7:00 am

Candidates must be comfortable and flexible to work either the 12-hour day shift or night shift, depending on business and operational requirements.

Additional Requirement

  • Willing and able to work 12-hour day or night shifts, with shift assignments subject to business needs.

Job Summary

We are seeking a hands-on and technically competent Debug Engineer to lead a team of Assistant Engineers and Technicians in troubleshooting and resolving product failures involving server and rack products.

The successful candidate will be responsible for failure analysis, root-cause identification, production support and continuous improvement activities within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of Assistant Engineers and Technicians in performing debug and troubleshooting activities for server and rack products that fail during production testing.
  • Test, analyse and troubleshoot product failures.
  • Diagnose root causes and isolate defective components or failure modes.
  • Work closely with customers, headquarters, factories, Test, R&D, System and Production teams to resolve technical issues.
  • Recommend and implement corrective and improvement actions.
  • Support New Product Introduction activities and mass-production runs.
  • Participate in Kaizen and other continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Prepare, review and update Work Instructions when required.
  • Conduct Work Instruction and technical training for Technicians.
  • Participate in the implementation and maintenance of ISO-related activities.
  • Provide timely technical support to minimise production downtime and improve product quality.

Requirements

  • Diploma or higher qualification in an Engineering discipline.
  • Good understanding of product testing, debugging and troubleshooting methods.
  • Experience in failure analysis and root-cause investigation.
  • Knowledge of programming and debugging techniques.
  • Linux knowledge will be an advantage.
  • Able to communicate and collaborate effectively with customers and cross-functional technical teams.
  • Able to lead and guide Assistant Engineers and Technicians.
  • Able to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.
  • Willing and able to work 12-hour rotating day or night shifts.
