Primary and Secondary Science Tutor (Biology)

Job Description & Requirements:

Tuition Centre in AMK requires Full Time Science Tutor

(Primary 5/6 and Secondary Science S1/S2, and S3/S4 Pure Bio and Combine Chem)

· Teach Primary Science class (P5 and P6) and Secondary Science classes (S1/S2, S3 and S4 Pure Bio and Combine Bio/Chem) to around 2 to 13 students per class (Online or Hybrid).

· Well-versed with PSLE and S1-S4 syllabus

· Engage parents and guardians to communicate students' progress and areas for improvement, ensuring a strong partnership between centre and families.

· Modify Science learning material, worksheets, PowerPoint Slides. (if needed)

· Mark online homework and physical homework.

· Provide useful feedback to students.

· Do video recordings of lessons.

. Comfortable to Co-Conduct Webinars and appear in Tik Tok/ Face book videos

. Willing to take O Level Science (Pure Bio) as a private candidate

- Has taken PSLE and O Level in Singapore before

- Attained a Bachelor's degree of any field.

- Minimum latest 3 years’ 1-1 or group tutoring experience in teaching Science at Primary and Secondary levels, demonstrating a deep understanding of the curriculum and effective instructional strategies.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, parents, and students.

- Proficiency in utilizing educational technology and learning management systems to enhance teaching and learning experiences.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
