VP Loans Operations

A leading global financial institution is seeking an experienced Loans Operations Vice President to support a growing loans and private credit business across Asia.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end operational lifecycle of loan transactions, ensuring accurate processing, risk capture, and settlement.
• Support syndicated loans, bilateral lending, private credit products, and related capital markets instruments.
• Maintain a strong control framework, oversee operational risk, and drive governance initiatives.
• Partner closely with Front Office, Legal, Compliance, Finance, and external counterparties to support deal execution and resolve complex issues.
• Lead process improvement, automation, and strategic change initiatives to enhance efficiency and controls.
• Mentor and develop team members while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• 10+ years' experience in loans operations within investment banking or financial markets.
• Strong knowledge of syndicated loans, bilateral lending, agency servicing, and private credit products.
• Experience with loan documentation (LMA/APLMA) and Loan IQ.
• Understanding of front-to-back trade flows, operational risk, and P&L.
• Excellent stakeholder management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Proven ability to manage complex transactions, improve processes, and perform effectively under pressure.
