Occupational Therapist

We are partnering with an established care organisation in Singapore to identify an Occupational Therapist to support rehabilitation and care services for seniors.

This role is suited for an occupational therapist who enjoys working in a person-centred care environment and is keen to support seniors’ independence,daily functioning and quality of life.

The successful candidate will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to assess care needs, deliver occupational therapy interventions, support functional abilities and contribute to safe, holistic care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess seniors’ physical, cognitive, psychosocial and functional needs, and develop appropriate occupational therapy care plans.
  • Deliver occupational therapy interventions to support independence, daily living skills, functionality and quality of life.
  • Monitor progress and adjust care plans according to residents’ needs, therapy goals and care team input.
  • Work closely with nursing, medical, therapy and care staff to support coordinated and holistic care.
  • Guide and support care staff in the consistent and appropriate delivery of occupational therapy-related activities.
  • Support rehabilitation workflows, clinical protocols, documentation standards and service quality initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate and timely records of assessments, interventions and progress.
  • Engage residents and family members sensitively where required as part of care planning and progress review.
  • Conduct or support training for care staff and healthcare professionals where required.
  • Undertake other appropriate duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Degree in Occupational Therapy.
  • Registered with the relevant healthcare regulatory body in Singapore.
  • At least 3 years of relevant occupational therapy experience, preferably in healthcare, community care, eldercare, rehabilitation or long-term care settings.
  • Strong clinical assessment and intervention skills, particularly in supporting seniors with varying functional, cognitive and psychosocial needs.
  • Good communication, interpersonal and documentation skills.
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Adaptable and comfortable working in an evolving care environment.
