Senior Technical Expert - Electric Propulsion Systems

STATE Aviation is seeking aviation technical experts to support an Advanced Air Mobility aircraft manufacturing company in design engineering and compliance verification for eVTOLs. Prospective candidates should have significant and proven working experience in one or more of the following areas:

· Systems Safety Engineering: Including but not limited to assessing and managing aircraft design according to ARP4761and/or ARP4761A and ARP 4754A.

· eVTOL Propulsion System Design Engineering: Including but not limited to defining and developing and/or integrating electric motors, electric motor control systems, and relevant airborne electronic hardware in compliance with DO-254 and DO-160.

Primary Responsibilities

The Senior Technical Experts (STE) will work with an assigned AAM aircraft manufacturing company (Client) and support the Client by leading the design, development, and evaluation of electric motors and/or motor control systems for eVTOL aircraft. The work may include working with multi-disciplinary engineering teams and the generation and review of engineering, certification, and/or compliance verification documents as required for design and showing of compliance.
