We are seeking a highly motivated Research Fellow to join our lab in exploring the design, development, and applications of intelligent, computational, and robotic textiles.
Our research integrates material science, digital fabrication, hardware systems, and computational design to advance smart textiles and wearable systems for various applications, including health and well-being, human-computer interaction, robotics, fashion, interactive media, and immersive environments. Candidate will collaborate across art, design, science, and engineering disciplines, contributing to cutting-edge prototypes, installations, performances, and innovations that bridge human, material, machine, and environment at various scales.
Qualifications
Candidates should hold a Ph.D. in a relevant art, design, and engineering fields (computer science, mechanical engineering, material science, industrial design, media arts) and have a great portfolio and publication record in areas related to soft technologies, human-computer interaction, and wearable computing.
