Job Description
- Liaise with construction team to prepare document for Request for Quotation (RFQ) or Open Tender
- Source potential tenderers/subcontractors and send out invitation for RFQs
- Coordinate queries and clarifications between tenderers and construction team during RFQ stage
- Coordinate post-tender interviews between tenderers, construction team, QS team and contracts team
- Assist QS manager and contracts manager with quantity surveying matters relevant to Sub-Contract, Works Order and Purchase Order.
- Assist contracts team in administration of subcontracts
- Handle payment request received from subcontractors and suppliers
- Perform any other adhoc tasks assigned by QS Manager / Contracts Manager
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Quantity Survey, Civil, Mechanical or Electrical, or a related field.
- 3 years’ experience in quantity surveying and sub-contract administration of Construction Project
- Possess the relevant tertiary qualifications in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or Contract/Construction Law.
- Experience with large-scale process related construction project is preferable
