Director, Corporate Secretary

As a Director, you’ll play a key role in statutory compliance for our clients and ensuring excellent service quality. You will be the key contact point for clients and act as the mentor for the corporate services team.

What you will be doing

  • Lead and manage the full spectrum of corporate secretarial matters for clients ensuring compliance with all statutory, regulatory and governance requirements
  • Act as advisor to clients on corporate secretarial matters.
  • Oversee issuing invoices and ensuring payments are made.
  • Ensures accurate maintenance of statutory records for clients.
  • Responsible for obtaining compliance clearance for internal onboarding and external KYC requests.
  • Liaise with statutory bodies, banks and other third-party business partners as and when required.
  • Review and provide constructive feedback to team members, ensuring clarity, consistency, and accuracy across deliverables
  • Delegate tasks effectively and maintain open communication to support team collaboration and project success.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop corporate secretarial team, fostering technical excellence, client service quality, and career development of team members.
  • Actively engaging in the recruitment and retention of talented professionals.
  • Collaborating on other ad hoc projects as assigned by Managing Director.

What you will need

  • Chartered Governance Institute (CGI) / Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators (ICSA) qualification with minimum 10 years of experience.
  • Experience in VCC/SPV/Family office structures and related corporate secretarial work.
  • Strong knowledge of Singapore Companies Act, VCC legislation, AML/CFT requirement and corporate governance best practices.
  • Meticulous individual with strong sense of responsibility, proactive client servicing aptitude and commercial acumen.
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet tight deadlines
  • A collaborative team player who takes initiative, enjoys mentoring others, and is eager to grow in a fast-paced, client-facing environment.
