IT Support Specialist

Job Summary
We are seeking an IT Support Specialist to join our Regional IT team in Singapore, providing end-user computing support, workplace technology services, account administration, and onsite operational IT support in a multinational business environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage and resolve Level 2 incident tickets escalated from the global Service Desk to restore IT services promptly
- Fulfil and manage user IT service request tickets, ensuring timely communication, resolution, and accurate documentation of outcomes
- Support desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, conferencing equipment, and workplace technologies to maintain operational efficiency
- Troubleshoot operating system, application, hardware, network, and connectivity issues to minimize user downtime
- Administer user accounts, access permissions, distribution lists, shared mailboxes, security groups, and software assignments to ensure secure access
- Process SAP user access requests, including role assignment and authorization management, to maintain compliance
- Support employee onboarding and offboarding by provisioning devices, setting up accounts, managing access, and recovering assets
- Maintain accurate IT asset inventory records and manage asset lifecycle to optimize resource utilization
- Provide Audio Visual (AV) and meeting room technology support for meetings, events, and town halls to ensure seamless communication
- Coordinate with vendors on equipment maintenance, incident resolution, hardware replacement, and technology deployments to sustain IT infrastructure
- Maintain documentation, knowledge articles, operational procedures, and support records to enhance team knowledge and service quality
- Identify recurring issues and contribute to continuous service improvement initiatives and IT projects to enhance IT support effectiveness
- Perform other ad hoc operational and project-related assignments as required to support IT team objectives
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in IT Support, Service Desk, End User Computing (EUC), Desktop Support, or Workplace Technology Support roles
- Proven experience in incident management, service request fulfilment, and end-user support within a corporate IT environment
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows OS and Microsoft 365 applications (Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint, Office)
- Experience supporting laptops, desktops, mobile devices, printers, and peripheral equipment
- Working knowledge of networking fundamentals, including VPN and wireless connectivity troubleshooting
- Experience supporting AV systems, meeting room technologies, video conferencing platforms, and collaboration tools
- Familiarity with IT asset management processes and lifecycle administration
- Basic understanding of IT security, access control, endpoint protection, and compliance requirements
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Experience working in a multinational, geographically distributed IT support environment preferred
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with a customer-oriented mindset
Language Requirements
- Proficiency in English to effectively communicate with diverse stakeholders
- Basic conversational Mandarin is a helpful skill for engaging with some users and vendors in the region
Other Information
Work Schedule
- Monday to Friday, with a minimum of 4 days per week onsite; ad hoc office days may be requested based on management needs
- Generally office hours, with occasional extended hours for special events
- Occasional local travel to other company offices within Singapore may be required; overseas travel is not expected
