Finance Manager

About the Role

We're looking for a hands-on Finance Manager to own both day-to-day finance operations and financial planning & analysis (FP&A) for the business. This role blends operational rigor — month-end close, reconciliations, cash management — with forward-looking work: budgeting, forecasting, and business partnering with department heads. You'll also help modernize how finance works, using AI tools (Claude in particular) to improve speed, accuracy, and depth of analysis.

This is a great fit for someone who wants ownership of the full finance engine — not just modeling, but making sure the books, cash, and controls are solid day to day.

Key Responsibilities

Day-to-Day

Finance

Operations

• Own month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting
• Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and vendor payment cycles
• Oversee bank reconciliations, cash flow monitoring, and working capital management
• Ensure compliance with statutory filing requirements, tax obligations, and audit readiness
• Maintain and strengthen internal controls and finance SOPs
• Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, and company secretary as needed

FP&A & Business Partnering

• Own the budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis process across active markets
• Prepare monthly management reports, P&L analysis, and board-level financial packs
• Partner with Business and Commercial teams to model revenue scenarios and support pricing and deal decisions
• Build and maintain financial models in Excel for planning, investment, and scenario analysis
• Support cash flow forecasting and cost optimization initiatives

Modernization

• Identify opportunities to apply AI tools (e.g., Claude) to automate reporting, accelerate variance analysis, and reduce manual reconciliation work
• Continuously improve finance processes for speed and accuracy
• Mentor and guide regional finance staff as the team grows

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of finance experience, spanning both finance operations (close, AP/AR, compliance) and FP&A
• Advanced Excel skills (financial modeling, pivot tables, complex formulas, VBA)
• Demonstrated experience using AI tools for finance work — Claude, ChatGPT, or similar — to improve analysis quality or speed
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate numbers into a clear business narrative
• Experience working in or with a marketing technology, media, or digital platform business preferred
• Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, multi-market environment
• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; professional qualification (CA, ACCA, CFA) is a plus
• Singapore work authorization required (Citizen or PR)
