Job Description
- Supervise and monitor civil and structural works at the project site to ensure works are carried out according to approved drawings, specifications and project requirements.
- Coordinate daily construction activities with the internal project team and site personnel to ensure smooth progress of works.
- Monitor work progress and ensure construction activities are completed according to the project schedule and required standards.
- Review and interpret civil and structural drawings and identify discrepancies or issues during construction.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor workmanship, construction quality and compliance with approved drawings and specifications.
- Identify, address and rectify non-conformance and quality issues in coordination with the internal project team.
- Monitor site activities and ensure proper construction methods and procedures are followed.
- Ensure all works are carried out in compliance with relevant safety requirements and company procedures.
- Assist in resolving technical and site coordination issues arising during construction.
- Coordinate with site supervisors, foremen, workers and subcontractors to ensure works are properly executed.
- Monitor the use of materials and resources at site and report any issues or discrepancies to the Project Manager.
- Maintain proper records of site activities, inspections, progress and other relevant project documentation.
- Prepare regular updates on site progress and report issues to the Project Manager or relevant management personnel.
- Assist the project team in monitoring project progress, quality and site conditions.
- Utilize CAD software to review and interpret technical, civil and structural drawings.
Requirements
- Diploma in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Construction or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in Singapore's civil, construction or structural projects.
- Experience in site supervision and civil & structural works will be an advantage.
- Proficient in CAD software and able to read and interpret technical drawings.
- Good understanding of construction methods, site practices and safety requirements.
- Good communication skills with a strong sense of responsibility and initiative.
- Able to work independently and coordinate effectively with internal site teams.
- Able to work 5.5 days per week (Monday to Friday: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM; Saturday: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM).
