Job Summary

Design, build, and maintain cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines on AWS to enable secure, scalable, and reliable software delivery. Collaborate with engineering teams to enhance DevOps processes, security, and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins to enable efficient and reliable software delivery
• Develop and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS applying Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles with tools like Terraform or AWS CloudFormation
• Implement and maintain containerization and orchestration platforms such as Docker, Kubernetes, or Amazon ECS to support scalable application deployment
• Integrate security controls, automated testing, and vulnerability scanning (SAST, DAST) into the software development lifecycle to enhance DevSecOps practices
• Monitor system health, performance, and availability using observability solutions and proactively improve platform reliability
• Manage application deployment, release processes, and production operations to ensure smooth and secure software delivery
• Collaborate with software engineers to improve development workflows, deployment automation, and operational efficiency
• Identify and implement improvements to DevOps processes, tooling, and engineering practices to drive continuous improvement
• Support incident response and root cause analysis to resolve production issues and enhance system stability
• Drive engineering best practices in cloud security, automation, monitoring, and operational excellence
• Apply strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve technical challenges in cloud and DevOps environments
• Maintain a good understanding of Linux systems, networking, cloud-native architectures, IAM, and cloud security best practices

Required competencies and certifications

• Experience designing and managing cloud infrastructure on AWS
• Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation
• Experience with container technologies such as Docker and orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes or Amazon ECS
• Familiarity with DevSecOps practices including secrets management, vulnerability management, SAST, DAST, and software supply chain security
• Good understanding of IAM, cloud security best practices, and secure software delivery

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline
