Operations Executive
Singapore Human Resources Institute (SHRI)
We are looking for an Operations Executive to help us coordinate a growing portfolio of professional, corporate and accredited programmes.
You will sit at the centre of programme delivery, making sure the different pieces come together and our programmes run well.
The Role & Deliverables
You will manage the operational coordination of our programmes from confirmation through to delivery and completion.
Your work will include:
- Managing programme schedules, timelines and operational trackers.
- Coordinating faculty, venues, classrooms, programme materials and delivery requirements.
- Managing learner communications, attendance, assessments and certification requirements.
- Making sure faculty and learners have what they need before, during and after each programme.
- Supporting customised corporate programmes and larger strategic projects.
- Liaising with clients on schedules, participants, logistics and delivery requirements.
- Maintaining accurate programme records and documentation.
- Supporting SWDA, WSQ, EduTrust and other programme administration and compliance requirements.
- Coordinating across curriculum, marketing, commercial, finance and other internal teams.
- Identifying operational issues early and improving processes as the portfolio grows.
Your core deliverable is a well-run programme and a great learning experience. You keep the learner at the centre, support faculty and stakeholders, and make sure everything comes together from preparation through to completion.
The Opportunity
You will have visibility across the full programme lifecycle and work directly with programme leads, faculty, learners, corporate clients and colleagues across SHRI.
Our environment moves quickly. New programmes come on board, requirements change and plans sometimes need to move. We need someone who can adapt while keeping the underlying operation stable.
As you develop, we expect you to take increasing ownership of programmes and projects. There is room to grow towards programme management, project management or broader portfolio operations.
Who We Are Looking For
You are meticulous, organised and dependable, and comfortable managing several moving pieces at the same time.
When something changes, you work out what else is affected, who needs to know and what needs to happen next. You are flexible in how you get there, but disciplined about the things that cannot fall through the cracks.
You also enjoy working with people. This role involves constant collaboration with faculty, learners, clients and colleagues across different functions.
What Do You Bring to the Table?
- 2–4years of experience in programme operations, training, education, events, project coordination or a similar role.
- Strong organisation, coordination and follow-through.
- Good judgement and the ability to prioritise and anticipate problems.
- Clear written and verbal communication.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Confidence working with a wide range of stakeholders.
- The flexibility to adapt when circumstances change without compromising operational discipline.
- A strong sense of ownership for getting things done.
Experience in adult education, WSQ or a training-provider environment would be an advantage, but is not essential.
We are less concerned about whether you have done exactly this job before than whether you can bring order to complexity, work well with people and keep things moving.
Interested?
If you enjoy making things work, like working with different people and want a role where you can progressively take on more ownership, we would like to hear from you.
Send us your CV and tell us about a programme, project or piece of work that you helped bring together successfully.
