Option to extend: From 3 Jan 2028 to 30 Aug 2028 (585 Hours)
- 3 days a week, Mondays to Fridays: 8:00 am to 3:00 pm, with 6.5 working hours (excluding 0.5 hour lunch)
- Service is not required on Saturdays, Sundays, gazetted public holidays and school holidays (eg Youth Day)
- The school may adjust the work schedule for the personnel to support events or exigencies to meet school needs.
- Payment will be made on a monthly basis, based on actual work hours.
It is preferable that the Personnel have the following qualifications, skills and
1. Qualification
Possess relevant professional certifications in Counselling or Social Work
2. Working Experience
Preferably have 2 years of working experience in social services, with involvement in socio-emotional intervention, case management and restorative work with youth in a school or community setting.

Job Scopes:
The Wellbeing Support Officer (WSO) shall support in the following areas for Sec 1 to Sec 5 students :
1. Small-Group Interventions
To facilitate small-group intervention sessions for identified students with socio-emotional needs, focusing on developing healthy peer relationships, strengthening social-emotional competencies, and enhancing positive interactions with others.
To propose a workplan and session plans based on an assessment of students' needs, and to collaborate with the Teacher-In-Charge to finalise the workplan and session plans for execution.
To monitor students' progress throughout the intervention and provide timely updates and evaluation reports to the school for its monitoring of students'progress and the effectiveness of the programme.
2. Tier 1 & Tier 2 Preventive and Developmental Programmes
To support in Tier 1 preventive and developmental programmes for the general student population, promoting pro-social skills, positive relationships, and social-emotional competencies.
To collaborate with the Teacher-In-Charge in the design and delivery of Tier 1 & Tier 2 programme activities, ensuring alignment with the school's student development goals and priorities.
To contribute to a safe, inclusive, and caring school environment through the delivery of whole-class or level-wide activities as directed by the school.
3. Case Management and Reintegration Support
To provide case management support for students involved in interpersonal conflicts, including coordinating appropriate interventions and facilitating restorative processes to support their reintegration into the school community.
To maintain accurate and up-to-date case records and provide timely case updates and evaluation reports to the school for its monitoring of students' progress.
To collaborate with relevant school personnel and external agencies where necessary to ensure a coordinated and holistic approach to supporting students.
4. Family Engagement
To conduct home visits where appropriate to engage students' families, better understand students' socio-emotional needs and home circumstances, and strengthen home-school partnerships in supporting student development.
To connect families to community-based resources to support family needs.
To provide timely updates to the school following home visits, including observations and recommendations to inform the school's support plans for students.
Deployment & Reporting
The WSO will report operationally to a Key Personnel from the Student Development Team
Deployment schedule will be determined by the school in accordance with the termly school timetable and school events
