Job Summary
- Work Location: near Raffles Place MRT
- Hospitality sector
- Working Pattern: 5 day week, Mon to Fri
- Budget $4.5k-$5K plus Variable Bonus
Key Responsibilities
Monthly Closing & Financial Reporting
- Complete the full set of entity closing, including preparation of journal entries, agreeing intercompany balances, and reviewing management accounts within group timelines
- Update audit schedules on a monthly basis
- Prepare, investigate and clear bank reconciliation items
Treasury Function
- Prepare notices related to interest and loan repayments
- Prepare documentation related to bank signatories and bank mandate updates
Budget & Forecast
- Support the rolling forecast and budget process, including preparation and submission of budget and forecast figures
Year-End Audit
- Liaise with auditors and complete year-end audits for subsidiaries
- Support the group audit process and meet group deadlines
Tax Matters
- Prepare GST/WHT filings
- Prepare and submit ECI and final tax computations
- Liaise with tax agents to ensure submission deadlines are met
Other
- Support system implementation and process improvement initiatives
- Undertake other ad-hoc duties as assigned by management
Preferred Experience
- Degree holder with at least 5 years of relevant experience, ideally within the hospitality industry
- Experience with Cognos and/or NetSuite preferred
- Proficiency in Excel is essential
