As we continue expanding across Singapore, we are seeking a Field Trainer to champion operational excellence and people development across our outlets.
Position Summary
The Field Trainer is responsible for developing operational excellence across AMACHA outlets through structured training design and performance monitoring. This role ensures that all team members are equipped with the knowledge and skills required to consistently deliver AMACHA's service standards, product quality and customer experience.
This position works closely with Operations and Store Managers to identify training needs, design learning programmes, assess staff competency and support new store openings. The Field Trainer leverages digital tools and data-driven insights to enhance training effectiveness and contribute to the continuous professional development of outlet teams. The Field Trainer plays a key role in driving service excellence by equipping outlet teams with the skills to consistently deliver AMACHA's brand promise and customer experience standards.
Key Responsibilities
Training Needs Analysis & Programme Design
Conduct training needs analysis through consultation with Operations and Store Managers, utilising AMACHA's internal store audit checklist, customer feedback records and Google Sheets performance trackers to identify skill gaps and learning priorities.
Translate business objectives and operational requirements into structured learning outcomes and training curricula that align with AMACHA's brand values and service standards.
Design and develop comprehensive training programmes, including classroom materials, on-the-job guides, assessment tools and digital learning resources.
Ensure training content remains current, relevant and engaging through regular review, updates and incorporation of feedback from outlet teams and management.
Collaborate with the Operations team to align training content with new menu launches, operational changes and seasonal promotions.
Competency Assessment & Certification
Design and implement competency-based assessment frameworks to evaluate staff proficiency using AMACHA competency assessment checklists and Google Forms, ensuring assessments are aligned with industry standards where relevant.
Conduct validation sessions to ensure consistency in assessment standards across different outlets and assessors.
Analyse assessment data to identify systemic skill gaps and inform programme refinements.
Track and document staff certification status and learning progress, maintaining accurate training records.
Training Effectiveness & Performance Monitoring
Evaluate the effectiveness of training interventions and their impact on operational performance and service outcomes using Google Forms post-training surveys, AMACHA store audit results, customer feedback records and Google Sheets performance trackers.
Monitor outlet performance metrics, including customer feedback and operational audits, to identify training-related gaps and improvement opportunities.
Prepare regular training reports and present findings and recommendations to management.
Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for training outcomes and track progress against these metrics.
Continuously refine training approaches, materials and delivery methods based on feedback and performance data.
New Store Support
Lead training coordination efforts during new store openings, working with Operations and Store Managers to ensure timely training delivery.
Provide pre-opening training support to new outlet teams, ensuring they are operationally ready before store launch.
Provide post-opening support to reinforce learning and ensure smooth transition to regular operations.
Programme Evaluation & Continuous Improvement
Conduct periodic reviews of training programmes to assess relevance, effectiveness and alignment with business needs.
Gather feedback from outlet teams and management to identify areas for programme enhancement.
Benchmark training practices against industry standards and recommend improvements.
Document lessons learned from training initiatives and apply insights to future programme design.
