About the Role

DBS Bank is looking for an experienced Technical Project Manager to lead complex, large-scale technology transformations across digital banking, core systems, and regulatory initiatives. You will bridge the gap between business stakeholders, solution architects, and engineering squads—ensuring project delivery adheres to DBS’s Agile development standards, technology governance, and operational resilience frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

  • End-to-End Technical Delivery: Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of high-impact technology projects (e.g., cloud migrations, API platforming, core banking enhancements, or AI/RPA deployments) on schedule and within budget.

  • Agile & Delivery Governance: Facilitate sprint planning, backlog grooming, and release management using Jira and Confluence; enforce SDLC/SSDLC standards and maintain strict adherence to MAS regulatory guidelines.

  • Architecture & Technical Alignment: Collaborate with solution architects and security engineers to evaluate design trade-offs, manage technical dependencies, and mitigate system integration risks.

  • Stakeholder & Vendor Management: Communicate progress, risk profiles, and resource allocations to business leads, steering committees, and external technology vendors.

  • Risk, Budget & Change Management: Own project budgets, forecast resource capacity, manage scope changes, and lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and production rollout plans.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

Experience

6–10+ years managing technology projects within banking, fintech, or large enterprise environments.

Project Methodology

Hands-on experience with Agile, Scrum, Kanban, and Hybrid waterfall-agile frameworks.

Technical Domain

Strong understanding of microservices architecture, REST APIs, cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP), CI/CD, and data security standards.

Certifications

PMP, PMI-ACP, CSM (Certified ScrumMaster), or SAFe Agilist certification preferred.

Tools & Analytics

Advanced proficiency in Jira, Confluence, MS Project, and project financial tracking tools.
