WORKPLAE SAFETY & HEALTH OFFICER

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Workplace Safety & Health Officer (WSHO) to manage all Workplace Safety and Health matters for a pharmaceutical warehouse construction project in Singapore, ensuring compliance and promoting a strong safety culture.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain the project's Workplace Safety and Health Management System to ensure effective safety governance
• Monitor and enforce compliance with the Workplace Safety and Health Act, subsidiary legislation, and applicable Singapore regulations
• Conduct and review Risk Assessments, Safe Work Procedures, and Method Statements to identify hazards and mitigate risks
• Advise project management and site personnel on WSH requirements to support safe construction activities
• Verify that adequate safety controls are in place before commencement of work to prevent incidents
• Maintain accurate WSH documentation, records, and registers for audit and regulatory purposes
• Support and participate in internal inspections, audits, and regulatory inspections to uphold safety standards
