A Senior Sales Manager (MICE) with Conrad Hotels and Resorts will focus on maximizing revenue by driving the sale of conference facility space and guest rooms of the designated industry.

You will manage designated corporate accounts, develop and solicit new business, drive total hotel revenue from rooms, catering, and F&B outlets, address business needs, explore new opportunities, and expand existing business through promotional efforts and sales channels. As a Senior Sales Manager, you’re not just generating and managing group sales – you’re spreading the light and warmth of hospitality by delivering memorable experiences that make the stay for every guest.
As a Senior Sales Manager (MICE), you will work to maximize revenue opportunities through the sale of conference facility space and guest rooms. A Senior Sales Manager (MICE) will be directly responsible for performing the following task to the highest standards:
- Review sales and other revenue generating business plans, identify gaps, ensure proactive measures to fill hotel rooms, F&B venues and conference space capacity and meet set targets
- Contribute to the selling strategy of the hotel and manage the departments so that Team Members adhere to the strategy
- Support Team with building business pipeline from past clients and generate demand in tangible target (BBOB, Opening Date, and Closing Date).
- Understand the competitive marketplace and implement approaches to ensure the hotel stays competitive in the local market
- Ensure the Sales Team is developed effectively and embraces a culture of high-quality standards and proactive selling
- Receive and convert incoming enquiries to achieve targets and maximize revenue
- Responds to group RFPs through making proposals and sales presentation to prospective clients as well as explain, negotiate and close hotel sales
- Accurate data entry of group and meeting enquiries using Delphi FDC
- Build strong relationships with customers to fully understand their needs
- Conduct briefings and other meetings as needed to obtain optimal results
- Sales and telemarketing calls to customers and prospective customers to solicit business, engage sales activities.
- Conduct property tours, site inspections and host as entertainment for potential clients where relevant and appropriate.
- Work effectively to build relationships with colleagues in the hotel operations department
- Drawing up Sales Activity Plan and business leads, submit weekly sales call reports and future week activity plan as per the defined reporting standards as determined by Director of Sales
- Participate in industry events and represent the hotel at national and international specialist trade fairs and workshops, agreed by the Director of Sales and in co-ordination with the whole Business Development Department.
- Support Director of Sales in supervising and coaching team members
- Support Director of Sales in tasks such as team member training and performance related assessments.
- Perform other duties delegated by Director of Sales and Commercial Director

In addition, this role requires the following minimum qualifications:
- Demonstrates a positive and professional approach to work, with strong communication skills.
- Demonstrated sales experience in MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Exhibitions), with the ability to identify opportunities and achieve business objectives.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret business performance indicators and market or competitive trends.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain client relationships and achieve sales targets.
- Strong organizational and planning skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Demonstrates accountability, adaptability, and resilience in a fast-paced business environment.
- Able to work effectively under pressure and manage competing priorities.
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in a similar sales capacity is preferred.
- Tertiary qualification or equivalent relevant qualification is preferred.
