RESPONSIBILITIES

Job Overview

As a Social Work / Counsellor with FAM (Allkin Singapore), you will provide direct clinical counselling, facilitate therapeutic groups, and help high-conflict or divorcing families resolve co-parenting disputes and manage supervised visitations

The roles & responsibilities would include but are not limited to the following:

  • Provide direct counselling services to individuals, couples, families, and children.
  • Work with divorced or divorcing parents to resolve co-parenting disputes.
  • Facilitate supervised visitation sessions for children and parents in high-conflict divorce cases.
  • Conduct psycho-educational and therapeutic group programs for parents and children.
  • Maintain accurate case documentation and program statistics in accordance with professional practice standards and service models.
  • Prepare reports for the Family Justice Court for court-mandated cases.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • As a Counsellor, you will have:
    • A minimum qualification of a master's degree in counselling recognized by Singapore Association of Counselling (SAC);
    • Registered clinical member with SAC will be an advantage (or in the process of applying).
  • As a Social Worker, you will have:
    • A minimum qualification of a recognized bachelor's degree in social work (or higher);
    • Registered social worker with SWAAB will be an advantage (or in the process of applying).
  • At least 3 years of experience providing therapeutic and groupwork interventions for individuals, parents, high-conflict couples, and families
  • Skilled in assessing and managing risks (family violence, child abuse, suicide) while maintaining strict confidentiality and case documentation
  • Strong communicator and team player capable of cross-agency collaboration, care coordination, and stepping into leadership roles when needed
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and ability to analyze data
  • Must be open to working Saturdays and selected weekday evenings
