Carpenter

Blackmrkt Pte Ltd is looking for a skilled and reliable Carpenter to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for carpentry fabrication, installation, modification and dismantling works for events, exhibitions, commercial spaces and other project sites.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out carpentry fabrication and installation works according to drawings, measurements and project requirements.
• Read and interpret basic technical drawings, layouts and measurements.
• Fabricate and assemble wooden structures, display units, counters, partitions, platforms, backdrops and other custom-built items.
• Perform on-site installation, modification, repair and dismantling works.
• Ensure all carpentry works are completed according to required quality, dimensions and specifications.
• Operate carpentry tools and equipment safely and properly.
• Conduct measurements and make necessary adjustments during fabrication and installation.
• Coordinate with project supervisors, designers and other workers on-site.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Follow workplace safety requirements and project site regulations.
• Assist with loading, unloading and transportation of materials and equipment when required.
• Perform other carpentry-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Relevant experience in carpentry, renovation, exhibition, events or construction will be an advantage.
• Able to read basic drawings and take accurate measurements.
• Familiar with common carpentry tools and equipment.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physically fit and able to perform hands-on work.
• Willing to work on-site and travel to different project locations in Singapore.
• Willing to work overtime, weekends or public holidays when required by project schedules.
• Both junior and experienced carpenters are welcome to apply.
