Site Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily site construction activities.
• Ensure works are carried out according to approved drawings and specifications.
• Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Monitor project progress, quality and site workmanship.
• Conduct site inspections and resolve technical issues.
• Review construction drawings and assist with site measurements and setting-out.
• Prepare and maintain site reports, inspection records and project documents.
• Ensure compliance with safety requirements and site regulations.
• Attend site meetings and provide progress updates.
• Perform other duties assigned by the Project Manager.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Construction Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• Preferably 2–5 years of relevant site experience in the construction industry.
• Candidates with experience in building, civil, structural, architectural or related construction works will be considered.
• Good understanding of construction methods, site coordination and engineering practices.
• Able to read and understand structural, architectural and engineering drawings.
• Familiarity with construction materials, site measurements and construction procedures.
• Knowledge of quality control and inspection procedures.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Able to work independently as well as effectively within a project team.
• Good problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Responsible, proactive and willing to learn.
• Able to work in a fast-paced construction environment and meet project deadlines.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD is an advantage.
• Knowledge of Revit/BIM and other engineering or construction software will be an advantage.
• Familiarity with Singapore construction practices, codes and authority requirements will be an advantage.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
