Accounting Manager
IAPPS HEALTH GROUP PTE. LTD.
We are looking for an experienced and hands-on Accounting Manager to lead our accounting operations and support the continued growth of our healthcare and clinic network.
This role is ideal for an accounting professional who is strong in day-to-day accounting operations, financial reporting and controls, while also being comfortable leading a team and driving improvements in accounting systems and processes.
A key priority will be to spearhead the migration from existing accounting systems to a new accounting platform, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting at both individual clinic and consolidated Group levels.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead day-to-day accounting operations, including month-end and year-end closing, reconciliations and management reporting.
• Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting at both individual entity and consolidated Group levels.
• Manage, coach and develop the accounting team, with clear standards for accuracy, timeliness and accountability.
• Maintain strong financial controls, accounting policies, documentation and audit readiness.
• Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisers, system providers and other professional advisers.
• Lead the migration of accounting data and processes from existing systems to the Group’s new accounting system.
• Support the accounting and systems integration of newly acquired clinics.
• Ensure proper migration controls, reconciliation, testing, training and user adoption.
• Identify accounting, reporting and control issues early and implement practical corrective actions.
• Improve accounting processes, reporting quality, data accuracy and operational efficiency.
• Work closely with finance and operational teams to provide reliable financial information for management decision-making.
Requirements
• At least 7 years of relevant accounting and finance experience.
• Proven hands-on experience managing accounting operations, month-end closing, reconciliations and financial reporting.
• Experience managing and developing a team of accounting staff.
• Good knowledge of financial controls, audit requirements and statutory reporting obligations.
• Experience with accounting system implementation, data migration or systems integration will be highly advantageous.
• Tech-savvy and comfortable working with accounting systems, reporting tools, spreadsheets and process automation.
• Able to work effectively in a fast-growing, multi-entity environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with good attention to detail.
• Able to communicate accounting issues clearly to both finance and non-finance stakeholders.
• High standards of integrity, confidentiality and accountability.
A degree, diploma, professional accountancy qualification or equivalent relevant accounting experience is preferred.
Experience in healthcare, clinics, multi-outlet operations or companies undergoing acquisitions and integration will be an advantage.
Who We Are Looking For
We are looking for someone who is hands-on and willing to get into the details, rather than simply reviewing work prepared by others.
You should be comfortable leading an accounting team while personally taking ownership of complex accounting issues, system migration and process improvements.
The successful candidate will play an important role in building a scalable accounting function that can support the Group as we continue to grow and integrate new clinics.
