Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

We are seeking an experienced and commercially minded Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to partner the CEO andBoard in leading the financial strategy and next stage of growth of our healthcare group.

The CFO will be responsible for strengthening the Group’s financial position, supporting its expansion and acquisition strategy, and building a finance function capable of supporting agrowing multi-entity healthcare organisation.

A key mandate of the position is to secure funding and prepare the Group for a potential IPO.

Key Responsibilities

· Partner the CEO and Board in developing and executing the Group’s financial and capital strategy.

· Lead annual and multi-year financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and scenario analysis.

· Develop and execute appropriate fundraising and financing strategies to support the Group’s growth.

· Build and maintain strong relationships with shareholders, investors, banks, lenders and other capital providers.

· Drive financial and organisational readiness for a potential IPO or other capital-market exercise.

· Evaluate acquisitions, investments, partnerships and major commercial initiatives through financial modelling, valuation, due diligence and risk-return analysis.

· Advise management and the Board on capital allocation, liquidity, funding requirements and major investment decisions.

· Oversee financial reporting, treasury, tax, audit readiness, internal controls and finance-related compliance.

· Ensure timely and decision-useful financial reporting and management information.

· Lead and develop the Group’s finance and accounting organisation.

· Strengthen financial governance, controls and accountability across the Group.

· Drive finance transformation, including improvements in systems, data quality, reporting, automation and business intelligence.

· Communicate financial performance, risks, opportunities and strategic trade-offs clearly to the Board and other key stakeholders.

Requirements

· At least 10 years ofrelevant professional experience, including a strong track record in senior finance leadership.

· Demonstrable experience in financial strategy, fundraising, investor relations and governance.

· Strong experience in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and management reporting.

· Proven ability to work effectively with CEOs, Boards, shareholders, investors, lenders, auditors and professional advisers.

· Experience evaluating investments, acquisitions and major corporate transactions.

· Strong knowledge of financial reporting, internal controls, audit, tax, treasury and governance.

· Strong financial modelling, valuation and analytical capabilities.

· Experience building, managing and developing finance teams.

· Strong commercial judgement and ability to balance growth, liquidity, risk and long-term value.

· High level of integrity, independence of judgement and accountability.

· Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex financial matters clearly to both financial and non-financial stakeholders.

A degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant professional experience, is preferred.

Relevant professional accountancy, finance or executive qualifications will be advantageous.

Experience in healthcare and/or IPO preparation will be a strong advantage.
