Business Development Executive/ Manager (Construction Sector Focused, Financing Solutions)

Role Summary

We are supporting our Client (HQ in Hong Kong) to hire a motivated and results-driven Business Development Executive/Manager to be based in Singapore (Work location: downtown). Responsible for seeking new business opportunities by contacting and developing relationships with potential clients in the construction and infrastructure sectors for both local and regional markets

Responsibilities

Support marketing and partnership activities to strengthen brand visibility within the local construction community.
Generate sales opportunities from construction stakeholders
Contact potential clients through cold calls, emails, site visits, networking events, and exhibitions.
Pitch the company's products/services to potential clients.
Identify client needs and suggest appropriate products/services.
Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients.
Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market.
Stay up-to-date with new products/services offerings
Provide proper after-sales service to clients.

Requirements and Skills

Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Construction, or a relevant field
Proactive, outgoing and active, with the ability to deliver engaging presentations, with a proven track record in achieving sales quotas
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Hands-on experience on with multiple sales techniques, including cold calls.
Experience with CRM software (e.g., Pipedrive, Salesforce).
Familiarity with the Microsoft Office suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, for preparing presentations, analyzing data, and creating reports.
Prior work experience in B2B sales/ business development
Knowledge and experience in the construction, contracting, or infrastructure industry and/or construction financing will be prioritized.
