Role Purpose
The Logistics Coordinator – Team Lead will be responsible for ensuring Best-in-Class Dispatch / Receipt services through leading a team to achieve goals through tasks like setting workloads, delegating tasks, providing guidance, and monitoring performance. This role ensures safe, efficient, and compliant movement of aircraft parts and other aviation-related materials. Key duties include motivating team members, training staff, resolving conflicts, and acting as a liaison between the team and upper management. Essential skills include strong communication, problem-solving, and time management.
Main Role Accountabilities
1.
Leadership & Motivation
Guide, motivate, and inspire a team to achieve specific project goals and company objectives.
· Drive employee engagement and team cohesion.
· Lead and train logistics staff.
· Support in the preparation of shift schedules and manpower allocation during peak operations.
2.
Performance monitoring
Track the performance of team members and provide constructive feedback.
· Ensure that team members clearly understand and take ownership of their area of responsibility, proactively respond to all requests received to deliver an efficient and responsive service.
· Set clear objectives and guide the team to achieve defined targets and performance standards
3.
Training and development
Help team members develop new skills and improve their performance through training and guidance.
· Work with the Warehouse Manager and Supervisor to ensure the team is designed optimally, ensuring sufficient organisational depth, span of control with succession / talent planning.
· Ensure that the team are fully aware of and compliant with all Company policies and procedures.
· Ensure that all team members continually receive training, including refresher, and that future developmental training programmes are identified and implemented as appropriate.
· Ensure that all team members complete mandated training as required, and identify future developmental training programmes and implement as appropriate
· Ensure all team members are trained and follow requirements under ISO 9001 AS9120B

Communication
Serve as the primary point of contact between the team and the Warehouse Manager and Supervisor, and foster open communication within the team.
· Report HR challenges to the Warehouse Manager and Supervisor as they arise.
5.
Problem-solving
· Address and resolve conflicts, handle complaints, escalating as necessary
· Identify potential challenges and work with the Warehouse Manager and Supervisor to resolve and / or mitigate.
6.
General Duties
· Perform Receipt Inspection on goods received and dispatch of all Cargo/Goods and record data in accordance with B&H and customer’s working procedures.
· Ensure all goods are receipted into B&H systems and customer’s MIS systems as per CASA and CAAS regulations.
· Load and off-load vehicles in a safe & timely manner and assist with labelling, binning and palletizing in accordance with customer’s requirements.
· Ensuring vehicles and vehicle operators for loading or unloading are safe and loads are secured prior to release.
· Respond to customer queries and B&H team member queries efficiently and promptly.
· Deal with inventory requirements, logging incoming and outgoing shipments that are stored in our warehouse.
· Ensuring local stock integrity and segregation in accordance with CASA regulatory requirements and maintaining appropriate records of segregated items.
· Perform bi-annual audits / stocktakes / cycle counting of the inventory held in the warehouse, or more frequently if requested by the customer.
· Keep the warehouse in a safe, tidy and organized manner.
· Carry out daily pallet safety checks for pallets stores in racking and weekly racking safety checks to ensure a safe working environment.
· Maintain and share with colleagues as appropriate, personal knowledge of all relevant transport laws and procedures and restrictions.
· Liaise with the Warehouse Supervisor and Warehouse Manager to identify any changes in work instructions and / or processes where appropriate, thus providing reliant handling of Cargo / Goods.
· Undertake duties in accordance with defined processes and work instructions.
· Maintain stock and Maintenance Inventory Systems (MIS) integrity and stock control through accurate data interfacing with MIS, compliant stock segregation and storage and receipt inspection for incoming aeronautical parts and tooling.
· Able to perform DG storage and handling DG parts in accordance with regulatory and business requirements.
· Able to pack goods for despatch in accordance with IATA & Manufacturer’s instructions.
· Requirement to travel to MRO located at Seletar Airport and Changi Airport occasionally.
· Work within the general B&H Warehouse team, during customer-driven work downtime

Regulatory & Safety Compliance
· Ensure full compliance with aviation regulations (e.g., IATA, TSA, FAA/EASA as applicable).
· Enforce safety protocols, PPE usage, and airside operational procedures.
· Conduct regular audits, inspections, and risk assessments.
· Report and investigate safety incidents, implementing corrective actions.

This role needs to be underpinned by excellent customer service skills and an ability to multi-task under pressure. You will have excellent attention to detail and possess a sound warehouse / inventory knowledge.

Qualifications and Experience
· Proven experience as an Inventory Operator and may also have experience as an Inventory / Warehouse supervisor / team leader, ideally gained within logistics / air freight industry and not afraid to be ‘hands on’.
· Experience with WMS or similar systems
· Forklift licence and manual handling experience is desirable, but not essential.
· Knowledge and experience to lift and handle freight in accordance with aerospace and workplace safety guidelines.
