Job Summary
We are looking for a responsible and well-organized Human Resources Assistant to support day-to-day HR and administrative activities. The successful candidate will assist with recruitment, employee documentation, onboarding, attendance and leave administration, payroll preparation, and general HR operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with recruitment activities, including posting job advertisements, screening resumes, arranging interviews, and coordinating with candidates.
- Prepare employment-related documents such as offer letters, employment contracts, confirmation letters, and other HR correspondence.
- Coordinate the onboarding and offboarding processes for employees.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and personnel files.
- Monitor employee attendance, leave, overtime, and other HR-related records.
- Assist in preparing monthly payroll information, including attendance, overtime, allowances, deductions, and leave records.
- Support Work Permit, S Pass, Employment Pass, and other employment-related administrative matters where required.
- Assist with employee insurance, medical arrangements, training records, and other HR documentation.
- Respond to routine employee enquiries regarding HR policies, leave, attendance, payroll, and company procedures.
- Coordinate employee training, meetings, interviews, and HR-related appointments.
- Ensure proper filing and confidentiality of employee and company information.
- Support the implementation of company HR policies and procedures.
- Assist the HR Manager and management with reports, letters, spreadsheets, and other administrative tasks.
- Perform other HR and administrative duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, or a related discipline.
- Fresh graduates are welcome to apply; 1–2 years of HR or administrative experience will be an advantage.
- Basic understanding of Singapore employment practices and MOM requirements is preferred.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Able to handle confidential information professionally.
- Detail-oriented, responsible, and able to work independently as well as within a team.
- Willingness to learn and take on different HR responsibilities.
