Junior Qlik Sense Developer

We are looking for a Junior Qlik Sense Developer to join our Data andAnalytics team. The successful candidate will support the design, development,testing, deployment, and maintenance of Qlik Sense dashboards and businessintelligence solutions.

The candidate will work with business stakeholders, data engineers,developers, QA analysts, and senior BI consultants on enterprise analyticsprojects.

Rolesand Responsibilities

- Design, develop, maintain, and enhanceinteractive dashboards, reports, and other BI solutions using Qlik Sense.

- Gather reporting requirements and translate theminto appropriate visualizations, calculations, and data models.

- Connect Qlik Sense applications to databases,spreadsheets, APIs, and other data sources, and develop load scripts for dataextraction, transformation, cleansing, and validation.

- Build and maintain efficient data models usingstar schema, snowflake schema, or normalized structures.

- Develop set analysis expressions, mastermeasures, dimensions, variables, filters, drill-downs, and reusable dashboardcomponents.

- Perform data analysis, source-to-target mapping,validation, and reconciliation, and use SQL queries to investigate datadiscrepancies and troubleshoot issues.

- Conduct unit testing, support user acceptancetesting, and collaborate with developers, data engineers, and QA analysts toensure data accuracy and solution quality.

- Publish and manage applications through the QlikManagement Console, including reload scheduling, task monitoring, accessmanagement, and basic Section Access configuration.

- Review existing Qlik Sense solutions and improvetheir performance, usability, data models, and visual design.

- Document data models, workflows, business rules,calculations, and dashboard functionality for ongoing maintenance.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in computer science,Information Systems, Mathematics, Data Analytics, Engineering, or a relateddiscipline.

- 1–3 years of relevant experience in Qlik Sensedevelopment, business intelligence, reporting, or data analytics.

- Hands-on experience developing and maintainingdashboards and reports using Qlik Sense.

- Good understanding of Qlik Sense data modellingand visualization concepts.

- Working knowledge of Qlik load scripting,expressions, set analysis, master measures, dimensions, and variables.

- Good understanding of SQL, relational databases,joins, aggregations, and query development.

- Understanding of data-modelling concepts such asfact and dimension tables, star schemas, snowflake schemas, and normalizedstructures.

- Experience performing data analysis, validation,mapping, reconciliation, and troubleshooting.

- Basic working knowledge of Qlik administrationand the Qlik Management Console.

Preferred Skills

- Exposure to Qlik Cloud, QlikView, QlikNPrinting, or Qlik Application Automation.

- Basic knowledge of Qlik Section Access,application security, reload scheduling, and task monitoring.

- Experience with databases such as SQL Server,Oracle, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.

- Understanding of data warehouses, ETL processes,dimensional modelling, and data-quality concepts.

- Exposure to REST APIs, JavaScript, Python, or otherBI and data-integration technologies.

- Experience supporting enterprise orclient-facing BI projects.
