Inventory Coordinator / Construction / IMMEDIATE!!!

Job Descriptions:

  • Material control activities throughout the planning and execution of planned and unplanned maintenance, service, and warranty works.

  • Coordinate with overseas suppliers and counterparts to obtain and verify shipping documentation, including Bills of Lading, Packing Lists, Commercial Invoices, and Shipping Marks.

  • Liaise with freight forwarders and logistics partners to coordinate customs clearance, import documentation, port handling, and inland transportation of materials to customer sites.

  • Coordinate with customer supply chain and warehouse teams to oversee the receipt, inspection, storage, preservation, and handling of materials, ensuring all items remain in good condition.

  • Establish and maintain effective inventory management systems, processes, and tracking tools for serialized components, spare parts, hardware, consumables, and specialized tools.

  • Coordinate with customers on warehouse space allocation, laydown areas, and staging arrangements to support maintenance and site activities.

  • Supervise and coordinate contractor manpower engaged in material control and warehouse-related activities as required.

  • Manage on-site administrative arrangements, including site induction, transportation, meals, IT equipment, access arrangements, accommodation, and other site amenities.

  • Coordinate with relevant stakeholders and service providers to ensure the site team has the necessary resources and facilities to operate effectively.

  • Maintain proper documentation and records relating to site administration and logistics activities.

  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with customers, suppliers, contractors, freight forwarders, and other project stakeholders.

  • Address material, logistics, and site-related issues promptly and coordinate with relevant parties to achieve timely resolution.

  • Support the team in maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction and service quality.

  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned to support operational and customer service objectives.

Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Engineering, or a related discipline.

  • Relevant experience in material control, logistics coordination, warehouse operations, or maintenance support, preferably in industrial, power generation, or engineering environments.

  • Familiarity with shipping documentation, customs clearance processes, and inventory management systems is advantageous.

  • Training and certification in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) software, Lean Six Sigma would be an advantage
