Job Overview

We are seeking an Applied Scientist with a strong background in mathematics, computer science, and computational research to develop advanced solutions in artificial intelligence, machine reasoning, and trustworthy AI.

The role combines research and software development, applying mathematical reasoning, formal methods, and computational techniques to improve the reliability, security, and performance of AI-driven systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct research in AI, machine reasoning, and computational methods.
• Develop algorithms and research prototypes using Python, Rust, Haskell, and Lean.
• Apply mathematical logic, formal reasoning, and symbolic execution to complex computational problems.
• Research methods for improving the reliability, correctness, and security of AI systems.
• Apply machine learning and computational techniques to research and development projects.
• Develop and evaluate solutions involving formal verification, cryptography, and secure computing.
• Translate research findings into practical software solutions and technical prototypes.
• Collaborate with researchers and engineers on interdisciplinary AI and technology projects.

Requirements

• PhD or advanced degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, AI, or a related field.
• Strong background in mathematical and computational research.
• Experience in AI, machine learning, formal methods, or computational reasoning.
• Strong programming skills, particularly in Python or other research-oriented programming languages.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to conduct independent research and develop practical technical solutions.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with machine learning, AI research, or automated reasoning.
• Experience with formal verification, symbolic execution, or theorem proving.
• Knowledge of cryptography, zero-knowledge systems, or secure computing.
• Experience with Lean, Rust, or Haskell.
• Academic publications or research experience in mathematics, computer science, or related fields.

Educational Background

• Advanced degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.
• Strong academic and research background in mathematical or computational sciences.
