Waiter/Waitress

Job Summary

You will support restaurant operations by handling cashiering, taking and relaying orders, serving food and beverages, clearing tables, managing customer feedback, packing takeaway orders, and maintaining cleanliness to ensure smooth service and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Process cashiering and payment transactions accurately to ensure smooth customer checkouts
• Take customer orders clearly and relay them precisely to the kitchen for timely preparation
• Serve food, beverages, and desserts promptly to customers to enhance their dining experience
• Clear and clean dining tables efficiently to prepare for the next customers
• Receive and address customer feedback promptly to maintain service quality
• Pack food orders carefully for delivery and takeaway to preserve order accuracy and quality
• Perform general cleaning duties during restaurant opening and closing to maintain hygiene standards
• Carry out other reasonable duties related to restaurant operations as required

Required competencies and certifications

• Ability to communicate effectively in English to interact with customers and team members
• Willingness and ability to work on weekends and public holidays as per rostered schedule

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Ability to communicate in Mandarin to assist Mandarin-speaking customers
• Ability to communicate in Thai to support communication with Thai-speaking co-workers
• Customer-oriented attitude, responsibility, and eagerness to learn
