Job Summary

You will supervise construction projects by ensuring compliance with statutory codes, maintaining accurate site records, resolving site issues proactively, and overseeing quality control and progress reporting to deliver safe and efficient project outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Apply knowledge of statutory codes and requirements to supervise site activities, ensuring compliance with quality control and construction administration standards
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date site records documenting progress of works for effective project tracking
• Identify, resolve, and manage site issues proactively to minimize delays and maintain team collaboration
• Supervise construction works involving large span structural steel and precast components to ensure safety and quality standards are met
• Prepare and submit progress reports to stakeholders to communicate project status and challenges

Required competencies and certifications

• Diploma in Civil, Structural, or Geotechnical discipline from a Polytechnic or equivalent
• Accreditation from the Joint Accreditation Committee of IES and ACES
• BCSS certificate
• Structural Steel Supervisor (StS) certificate
• Minimum 8 years of relevant RTO experience, including at least 5 years supervising works of similar complexity

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Experience supervising large span structural steel and precast construction
