Job Description
- Support daily operations in the Teacher Preparation Room and two Kitchens.
- Receive and verify food orders and deliveries.
- Prepare and portion ingredients and equipment for culinary lessons.
- Maintain food hygiene, kitchen safety and cleanliness.
- Check and maintain ingredients, equipment, utensils and appliances.
- Conduct inventory and stock-taking of resources.
- Assist NFS Teachers during culinary sessions and guide students on safety and food preparation.
- Perform other duties assigned by NFS Teachers
Requirements
- Minimum PSLE qualification.
- Valid WSQ Food Safety Course (FSC) Level 1Certificate.
- Minimum 3 years’ relevant experience as an FCE/NFS Kitchen Assistant in a secondary school.
- Basic culinary and mathematical skills.
- Able to calculate ingredient quantities based onrecipes.
- Able to read, write and communicate confidently inEnglish.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
