Senior Resident Technical Officer (SRTO-Architectural)

Job Summary

You will supervise architectural and fitting-out works on major building construction projects, ensuring compliance with statutory codes, quality standards, and safety requirements. You will analyze site progress, maintain accurate records, and proactively resolve site issues to support project success.

Responsibilities

• Supervise architectural and fitting-out works on major building construction projects to ensure quality and compliance
• Apply knowledge of statutory codes and site supervision requirements to enforce safety and construction standards
• Analyze site progress and prepare detailed progress reports for construction administration
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date site records documenting work progress and issues
• Proactively identify and resolve site issues to minimize delays and support team collaboration
• Communicate effectively in verbal and written forms to coordinate with project stakeholders and teams

Required competencies and certifications

• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience as a Registered Technical Officer (RTO), including at least 8 years supervising complex architectural and fitting-out works in major building construction
• Diploma in Architectural or Civil/Structural discipline from a Polytechnic or equivalent
• Certificate in Building Construction Supervisors’ Safety (BCSS) Course
