ENGINEER

Job Summary

Oversee and manage electrical and engineering project installations, coordinating personnel and stakeholders to ensure timely progress and successful delivery. Plan and control operations, costs, and schedules while maintaining strong client and vendor relationships.

Responsibilities

• Manage mobilization of project installation and engineering personnel to ensure timely job progress
• Coordinate with customers, consultants, main and sub-contractors, and suppliers to resolve project implementation issues efficiently
• Assist in preparing material BOQs, selecting equipment, and recommending installation methods to optimize project outcomes
• Plan, schedule, and supervise on-site installation of electrical distribution systems, including ELV and security systems, ensuring compliance with standards
• Oversee site activities, vendors, and sub-contractors to meet project milestones and ensure prompt delivery of work
• Plan, supervise, and control project operations including cost management, re-estimates, manpower planning, and work scheduling to maintain project efficiency
• Build and maintain effective relationships with clients, consultants, and building owners to support project success and foster collaboration
• Update and report all operational issues monthly to relevant stakeholders to ensure transparency and timely resolution

Required competencies and certifications

• ITC, Nitec, Diploma, or Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Knowledge of uninterruptible power supplies or standby generators to support technical project requirements
• Ability to work independently, demonstrate resourcefulness, and take initiative to foster customer relationships and project progress
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with excellent customer orientation to enhance stakeholder engagement
• Commitment to teamwork, results orientation, and assertiveness to drive project success and collaboration
