Job Summary
This role supports aerospace procurement operations by managing end-to-end direct procurement activities, ensuring cost competitiveness, supply continuity, and strong supplier partnerships to meet customer business needs. This is a 1 year contract role and possible for extension depending on customer needs.
Responsibilities
- Negotiate with suppliers to specify quality, quantity, and delivery schedules to meet project requirements
- Schedule, arrange, and follow up on logistics to ensure cost-effective and timely delivery of materials
- Develop and maintain supplier relationships to secure competitive pricing, quality, and on-time delivery
- Identify supply risks and implement mitigation strategies to ensure uninterrupted supply continuity
- Standardize the DIEN process in SAP and collaborate with Repair and Finance teams to implement it effectively
- Manage SAP procurement processes including PR, PO, GR, and invoice processing integrated with MRO applications
- Review supplier invoices for GST and indirect tax accuracy and support Finance with audit and compliance documentation
- Collaborate with customers, project teams, and cross-functional teams to define scope, deliverables, resources, budget, and timelines for new initiatives
- Serve as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for revenue and billing processes across multiple business units
- Read and interpret aerospace component engineering and stage drawings to support procurement decisions
- Adapt quickly to evolving internal and external customer business needs
- Work independently to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Prepare and maintain procurement reports and tracking to support decision-making
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Experience in aerospace or MRO (Maintenance Repair Overhaul) procurement
- Awareness of aerospace quality requirements and export control regulations for international trade
- Experience supporting regional procurement across multiple countries
- Strong knowledge of aero-engine components and MRO processes
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain, Engineering, Finance or a related discipline Or Higher Diploma in Supply Chain or Business Administration
- Minimum 4 to 6 years of direct procurement experience, experience in the aerospace or MRO (Maintenance Repair Overhaul) industry
