Drafter (AutoCAD / Marine)

Responsibilities

• Prepare engineering draftsand technical drawings for new-build and retrofit projects.
• Produce outline, detailed,preliminary, single-line, termination and arrangement drawings based on projectand customer requirements.
• Prepare engineeringdocumentation for customer and class society submission and review.
• Monitor engineeringprogress to ensure timely completion of drawings and documentation.
• Maintain proper records,documentation and filing systems.
• Assist with projectplanning, progress tracking and reporting.
• Identify and highlight projectrisks or issues and ensure compliance with safety and statutory requirements.

Requirements

• Nitec / Diploma inEngineering or related field
• Proficient in AutoCAD 2D/3D
• Basic knowledge ofelectrical/electronics is an advantage.
• Familiarity with MicrosoftWord, Excel, PowerPoint and PDF tools.
• Strong communication skills
