Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and data-driven HRIS & Data Analysis Consultant to support the optimization of our HR systems, people data, and HR processes. The role will work closely with HR, Finance, IT, and business stakeholders to ensure the accuracy, efficiency, and effective use of HR data and systems.
The successful candidate will be responsible for HRIS management, data analysis, reporting, process improvement, and providing data-driven insights to support HR and business decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
1. HRIS Management & Optimization
- Manage and maintain HRIS platforms, ensuring employee data is accurate, complete, and up to date.
- Support the implementation, configuration, enhancement, and integration of HR systems and related tools.
- Manage employee lifecycle data, including onboarding, transfers, promotions, compensation changes, and offboarding.
- Identify system issues and coordinate with internal IT teams or external vendors to resolve them.
- Develop and maintain HRIS processes, workflows, user access, and system documentation.
- Support HRIS upgrades, testing, system migration, and implementation projects.
2. HR Data Analysis & Reporting
- Collect, clean, validate, and analyze HR and people-related data from multiple sources.
- Prepare regular and ad-hoc HR reports, dashboards, and management presentations.
- Analyze key HR metrics, including headcount, turnover, retention, recruitment, compensation, attendance, leave, and workforce costs.
- Develop data models and dashboards to provide actionable insights to HR and management.
- Identify trends, patterns, and potential issues through workforce data analysis.
- Translate complex HR data into clear and practical recommendations for stakeholders.
3. People Analytics
- Support the development and improvement of people analytics capabilities and reporting frameworks.
- Develop HR dashboards and KPIs to monitor workforce performance and organizational trends.
- Conduct analysis on employee turnover, workforce planning, recruitment effectiveness, employee costs, and other people-related topics.
- Partner with HR stakeholders to identify business questions that can be addressed through data.
- Provide data-driven insights to support workforce planning and strategic HR decisions.
4. Process Improvement
- Review existing HR processes and identify opportunities for automation, standardization, and efficiency improvement.
- Develop and implement data-driven solutions to improve HR operational processes.
- Automate recurring HR reports and manual data processes where appropriate.
- Work with cross-functional teams to improve data consistency across HR, Finance, and other business systems.
- Establish data standards and improve HR data governance and quality.
5. Data Governance & Compliance
- Ensure HR data is accurate, consistent, and maintained in accordance with company policies and applicable data protection requirements.
- Establish appropriate controls for HR data access and confidentiality.
- Conduct regular data audits and identify discrepancies or data quality issues.
- Support HR data privacy and compliance initiatives.
6. Stakeholder & Project Management
- Work closely with HR, Finance, IT, and business teams to understand requirements and deliver appropriate HRIS and analytics solutions.
- Manage HRIS-related projects from requirements gathering through implementation and post-launch support.
- Provide training and guidance to HR users on HRIS functionality, reporting, and data processes.
- Prepare project documentation, user guides, and process documentation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Statistics, or a related discipline.
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in HRIS, HR analytics, people analytics, HR operations, business analysis, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of HR processes and employee lifecycle management.
- Hands-on experience with HRIS platforms and HR data management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret and communicate data effectively.
- Advanced Excel skills, including PivotTables, XLOOKUP/INDEX-MATCH, data analysis, and data visualization.
- Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or other BI/data visualization tools is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with SQL, data querying, or data automation tools is an advantage.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
- Good project management and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, international environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience implementing or optimizing HRIS platforms.
- Experience with Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM, HiBob, BambooHR, or similar HR systems.
- Experience in developing HR dashboards and people analytics solutions.
- Experience with SQL, Power Query, Power Automate, Python, or other data automation tools.
- Experience working with multinational or technology companies.
- Knowledge of Singapore employment practices and HR data requirements is a plus.
